As all of us probably already know that LG made a statement about the bootloop issue of G4s which clearly proves that this problem is due to manufacturing fault. So LG has promised to repair them under warrenty which were bought under official warrenty from the local official LG provider or carrier. So the first paragraph was very clear & specific.
But in the second paragraph, LG's statement was very fuzzy.
So let's be clear once again.
Fact 1: Any LG G4 that was bought under country warrenty and had bootloop, LG used to repair it previously. There was no problem from their side.
Fact 2: Those who didn't buy LG with warrenty (I.e. bought from 3rd party retailers or bought from abroad which warrenty is not valid in native country or bought during the promotions), mostly the models they bought are not native models that are being sold by their local LG providers. So when they got bootloop, LG straight forward denied to repair the devices. So these people are the sufferers and they are the vast majority.
Fact 3: As LG has publicly acknowledged this issue as their manufacturing fault (according to androidauthority), any device that has this problem regardless model variety or country, LG should repair it.
Fact 4: LG didn't make any strong and clear statement about how non-warrenty customers will get their service. So, local LG providers as in my country, USA & some other places also denying to repair it.
IMO all these problems were occurring before and that's why that petition was signed, right? And as this is now official, why not repair this SINGLE issue under warrenty as no LG G4 is still more than 1 year old....
So I think this is not over yet. LG gave a very political statement by saying "warrenty conditions may differ" in their statement. I request the concerned persons to look into the issue and users should raise their voice again once more.
