Change from branded to generic?

Discovered that my new Z5 Compact is Telenor (norway) branded.
That might set back the date for receiving Marshmallow, plus that there are apps I really don't need.

How easy is it to flash a generic nordic, which one should I choose, and where do I find it? :)
