I have been looking around the web but no one has completed the steps to install REMIX OS on PARALLELS
As for me i'm stuck on the last step... installing GRUB manually, as installing GRUB via USB only ends up being stuck.
Here are my steps :
1. I'm sure by now everyone has installed Remix OS on their USB so i'll skip to the next part.
2. add new virtual machine.
3. on the bottom right corner "continue without a source".
4. Choose "android" or "more linux" - other linux kernel (which ever you want) < this part i have to leave it up to you guys to play around.
5. customize settings before installation > continue > hardware > boot order > "tick" external device > "tick" select boot device on startup > external boot device (drop down menu) choose you usb where you installed Remix OS.
6. once it boots up, press tab, type " INSTALL=1 " it will look something like this > CREATE_DATA_IMG=1 INSTALL=1 <
7. You will see your hard drive and sd/mmc, choose your hard drive and format as FAT32 (note that i have tried the others but it did not read while booting up)
8. well this is where i'm stuck, can install GRUB or the other one as well. so i skipped...
9. yes to read/write and it will start to install...
10. create data.img file to your liking, i did 2047mb cause i have alot of space in my hdd.
11 that's all...
i'm stuck at number 8 is anyone can help
for the mean time this is the only way to boot from usb only till i can get GRUB to install to make it bootable..........
