Help Req with Kodi Changing back to icono

Hi chaps....

Everything has been working perfectly for the last year or so, up until last night. As I finished watching a prime movie, I went back to the home screen and I watched the IconoTV return back to a pink color.

I decided to simply run adbfire v 1.28 and redo the llama install, this went through smoothly, I then went into applications ran llama and imported from usb the settings and rebooted.
Upon this reboot I had no Icon at all just an empty square box, but I decided to run this empty box anyway.
kodi ran fine. I then exited out from kodi at which point the kodi Icon returned back to the home screen.

This has been okay all day, Kodi has been ran on a number of occasions without any problems. And then tonight I had the same problem happen again.

Could someone please help me out with this,.... as I unsure of why this would be happening.

firetv is on fw 51.1.6.3 516012020, this was an unintentional update due to my ip address being changed and I stupidly forgot to turn off the firetv before I had a chance to update OpenDNS with the new ip details.

It was perfect before the update, I had no stupid advertising bar at the top and I had no need for the usb to be turned on.

Only strange thing I did notice, was that in the applications folder, the IconoTV app is Blue. and not pink.

items blocked in opendns are these...

amzdigitaldownloads.edgesuite.net
softwareupdates.amazon.com
updates.amazon.com

would any of these stop the icon from changing??

atv-ext.amazon.com ----------------------------- I think this one blocks amazon content
amzdigitaldownloads.edgesuite.net
a1910.d.akamai.net ----------------------------- not too sure what this one does
firs-ta-g7g.amazon.com
bueller-ota
montoya-ota

Really appreciate any help chaps....
