Cm 12.1 build 31 No Root

When i reboot, i lose the root and the smartphone doesn't know the Sim.

Note 4 build prop

Hi I have a N910W8 on 5.0.1. Rooted no custom rom. I have the consumer edition with note 4 modded in. I would like to access the Oculus store to get apps for the note 5. Can I just edit the build prop to n920 with Rom toolbox to get Oculus to think its a note 5. Is it that easy. Thx:rolleyes:

[Q] I have created my first Android build, but it doesn't boot. What next?

Yesterday I have created my first Android ROM. Flashed it and flashed the boot.img file.
This ROM includes a custom kernel.
When starting up, I see the bootloader splash screen and then somekind of graphical glitch where the logo is displayed twice in green and the screen goes all black.

I think it has something to do with the kernel. I am using version 2.6.32 with Android 4.2.2 for my Huawei Ideos S7. If you'd like, I can link the repos here, but I have build the ROM with a private clone of those repos.

How can I 'debug' the system and tell what is causing the device not to boot?


You can send me a guide if you want, and hopefully I will figure it out.

Is there a way to downgrade back to cm11 build 25R without loosing signal?

Hi , I was wondering if there is a way to revert back to cm11 build 25R to get the legendary 7H SOT ? cause when i install the build I get no cell signal the lwest build does gave me signal is 33R.
I tried to flash the 25R modem without luck.

NOTE:
In order to make sdcard as default storage, I had to remove the emulation of internal storage, reason why you will not see it at file manager and not mounting when connecting it to a computer.

This is my first ROM to port that was in .dat file, meaning it went through a lot to put it to .zip.

Report if bugs are found.

Boot to recovery
