[Asus memo pad 7] ME176C / ME176CX Battery life improvements

Alright, after tweaking for the last 10 days I found the perfect battery life setup.

Battery Life on standby

The big thing that eats up battery are the background processes. I found that app "Recently" by Chainfire and CF Lumen eat up my battery in the background - 5-10% overnight (8 hours sleep);

Frozen Apps:

Code:

Asus Services 1.0.0.150203
Asus ZenUI Services 2.21.0.150629_1
Asus_Air_Status 5.0-WW_K013-12.10.1.33-20150917
Google Backup Transport 5.0.1-1602158
Google Contacts Sync 5.0.1-1602158

Deleted apps: Almost everything with Asus in its name except (these are NOT deleted):

Code:

Asus System VebView
AsusCompatibilityService
AudioWizard
AudioWizardService
Auto-start Manager
Browser
Camera
Clock
com.asus.linkrim.service
com.asus.quicksearch
contacts
digital media service
DMClient
File Manager
Fota Service
Input Devices
livedemoservice
location
mobilemanagerservice
power saver
power statistics
search
setup wizard
smmi_test-v4.1.31
splendid
splendidcommandagent
task manager
update launcher

Disabled Services (using any app, like DisableService):

Code:

Asus_air_Status -> AirStatusService
Google Backup Transport -> BackupTransportService

This is the better battery stats view:

I used it for twitch streams, youtube videos and some facebook along with web browsing (web browsing is max 30 minutes);

Asus Zenfone 5 poor performance after few weeks from root

I have rooted my Zenfone 5 and it worked fine with no problems at first. Apps runs fine with out crashing or lagging.
However after a few weeks from rooting my phone, I've noticed some poor performance. some apps jitters/lags or just crashes. However, if an application crashes, be it a game or something else, my whole phone crashes. I find it strange when a game/app crashes everything else crashes, ZenUI stop responding etc..
I have no idea why is this happening because I have not downloaded any apps or anything from the internet during those weeks. (aside from apps updating it's self from google play store)
I have no choice but to hard reset the device by holding down the power button. I did try to reinstall the applications that crashes but it's still the same.

Any help or suggestions? I'll probably try to unroot my phone later if it fixes anything.

TF201 stop at ASUS logo - after a firmware update

Hello,

I download from the ASUS website the firmware with version "V10.4.2.18 Only for WW SKU (Android 4.1)" and the pop-up for update de firmware appear normally to me.
Then, the TF201 restarted and since then does not passes through the ASUS Logo.

I Was on 4.0.0.3, firmware 9.4.2.28 and tried to upgrade to a superior version (my mistake as I can see now).

Even when restarting with Power + VOL DOWN the only thing that appears is :

----......................
The Device is Unlocked.

Android cardhu-user bootloader <2.10 e> released by "WW_epad-9.4.2.28-20120525" A03
Checking for android ota recovery

Booting recovery kernel image

-----------

And stays here forever... No option with the 3 icons, so I can choose USB... And neither the VOL UP during this process does nothing...

Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance

Asus TF700 not recognized by windows 10 PC

I have a stock TF700 that refuses to be recognized by my PC. I have tried multiple cables to no avail. I also updated all usb drivers for the computer usbs'. Also the pins in the connection look in order. All possible android and asus sync programs have been uninstalled as well. The tablet still charges and recognizes that it is in the keyboard dock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
