I need some quick help ASAP! FM Tuner, Galaxy note 2 SGH-i317M, Cyanogenmod PLEASE!

Ok so lets get right to it!

I have a Galaxy note 2, SGH-i317M. It came with a built in FM tuner that needed headphones to work as an antenna. Obviously, I didnt like the OS, so i flashed it to Cyanogenmod 12.1 Lollipop. This OS does not come with a built in FM tuner. Now I have tried to install Spirit1, Spirit2, SpiritUL( The free Fm Tuners that run off line.) THESE DONT WORK!

Many have suggested to buy a Sony/Erricson portable radio headset that is cheap. However, why bother when my phone itself has a built in function for that?!? I just need to somehow access it!

I need help with this issue! Thanks guys! Also, im learning so dumb stuff down for me! My friend helped me with flashing my phone and stuff so im just learning and pretty new to this stuff. Thanks :)

Help 3G, 4G/LTE Not Working on Cyanogenmod 13

I am using cynogenmod 13 latest build all things working perfectly but I'm unable to change connection type to 3G or LTE if selected 2G I have to go to flight mode and then I can change the connection type to LTE only still can't change it to 3G. When it's selected LTE as default even that time also the data connection work still as 2G sign showing as E even if I select LTE never get the H/H sign on my service provider Vodafone India please help me... and sorry for my bad english.

[ROM] UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod 12.1 [28/01/2016]

Hi everyone, i am currently building a weekly version (or monthly, depending on CyanogenMod fixes and patches) of CyanogenMod 12.1 for a while now, i thought i could share it with you, because falcon cm-12.1 branch is no longer supported by CyanogenMod.
I made some little modifications to the framework, the device tree and the kernel, which you cand find in the source section.

For those who don't read at those stuffs, the changes are:

- Restored MotoDoze (wake gestures etc.), since the black screens have been fixed a while ago, this feature is now working correctly here on CM12.1
- Status bar date customizations
- Cyanogenmod's Screencast app from cm-13.0 branch
- Kernel security fixes from the cm-13.0 branch
- PowerHAL updates from cm-13.0 branch
- General device tree updates from cm-13.0 branch
- LuK1337 gently find a fix for the GPS bug that forced you to erase modemst1 and modemst2 to make GPS work, so you won't need to do that anymore
- Updated all the libraries and apk/jar's from latest falcon build (LPB23.13-58)
- Updated Adreno libraries to 5.1 (Motorola is still using 5.0 ones on their 5.1 build)
- CyanogenMod fixed the soft reboots due to strictmode violations (https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_base/commit/1e60f9b9ae10d46d028c19c90cf0f52d40ca620a), so this fix is of course included here, too, but is not included on the latest public snapshot for falcon on the CyanogenMod site, so this can be a reason of switching from that snapshot to this build.
- CM12.1 branch is pretty stable right now, so you shouldn't have any major problem

Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
7.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.

Dirty Flash/Update
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. WIPE CACHE/DALVIK.
3. Install the update zip from recovery.
3.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
4. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).

Installation
First time installing CyanogenMod to your Galaxy Tab 2, or coming from another ROM:

• Read the official wiki


• Copy GApps and CM-Rom ZIPs to your internal SDCard


• Boot into Recovery


• wipe data factory reset


• wipe cache


• wipe dalvic cache


• format system


• Flash CM-Rom ZIP from internal SDCard


• Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard


• Reboot


• Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!


• Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 13.0:

• Copy CM-Rom ZIP to your internal SDCard


• Boot into Recovery


• Flash CM-Rom ZIP from internal SDCard


• Reboot

Maybe it is required to flash the GApps again.

CyanogenMod 12.1 Unofficial

OK so a couple days into Cyanogenmod 12.1 unofficial...loaded a bunch of apps, processor and graphics intensive games.... This OS is awesome! But...time will tell really... After a few weeks, months, lets see how it performs...I have high hopes based on what I've experienced so far...

I'm running this on my SG Tab 3 10.1 P5210

A few things I should mention:

1. I had a big learning experience (major noob here) with TWRP recovery. For some reason Odin wouldn't allow me to unchecked 'auto reboot' as it was grayed out. So I modified the .ini file and changed the auto boot parameter from 1 to 0. Then I had to learn... First reboot after Odining TWRP.....HOLD HOME BUTTON+VOLUME UP+POWER..ONCE YOU SEE SAMSUNG LOGO RELEASE POWER STILL HOLDING HOME+VOLUME UP! Reason is, if you continue to hold power button, it's like disconnecting the battery, and reboots tab! UGH...after first successful boot into TWRP Recovery, is all good... To boot into recovery just boot holding power+VOLUME up like normal recovery... TWRP now loads so the time line of cake...

2. The Google Openapps zip did not install with Odin.. I .had to search around, I found frankin GAopen apps for 4.4 and installed via odin....took several play store updates until all Google apps settled down. There's prolly a better way to get the Google stock apps (play store, gmail, etc) that come with Android to install better but...I got them working so I won't complain...

3. When I change the wall paper, the image went whacky. Had to install a 2nd theme, switch themes, then switch back to straighten wallpaper iimage out

4. Keyboard was funky...I think this was from the frankinapps that I installed. Fixed by installing Google keyboard and disabling all others

5. When I install apps, I move them to my MicroSD card if possible. Any app with a widget (Weather Channel, Android Central, Calendar app, any widget app) that I move to the SD card doesn't work anymore. In fact I don't even see the app in the widget drawer. If I install say Android Central and place widget on any screen then move it to SD card it stops working. Fix is, move it back to internal storage.

6. Battery seems to drain quicker however Android 5.1.1 lollipop handles this well because once I get down to about 20% it drains much slower. Faster drain is prolly due to the fact that I'm actually using this tab much more than ever so, this may be a non-issue

7. Not sure if this is lollipop or Cyanogrnmod but, Lollipop (which is what Cyanogenmod is built on) has some really great features such as - auto adjust screen brightness and hue based on time of day.... This is very cool because it's 9:30pm EST and very dim in the room I'm in right now so the screen auto dimmed and adjusted the hue nicely... This is a big plus because it's very easy on the eyes and most importantly it save battery

Overall... Again... 2 thumbs up!!!!

How to install Cyanogenmod 12.1 on Stock Nook Tablet using SD Card?

Hey! I am trying to get Cyanogenmod 12.1 on my stock Nook Tablet. I no longer use the Nook Tablet as often and would like to give it a new life by making it an Android. After reading a ton of articles and forums, I have tried a ton of them, but none of them seem to work successfully. One of them I tried was, Install CM for acclaim on the wiki.cyanogenmod.org website , the process went successfully until I rebooted and it continued to boot me to the regular Nook setup. I think it is because the Clockworkmod Recovery is outdated. I also see that Cyanogenmod's latest recovery is also available, but how do I put it on my SD card successfully. Please provide a step to step guide for me. Thank you! :)

Hi guys, I want to install the latest version of cyanogenmod 12.1 but I know that offline charging doesn't work. I tried to put the kernel of the release of May, but wifi didn't work. So can someone tell me which is the kernel where I can use offline charging?

Emulating a NTAG215 (amiibo) with CyanogenMod 10.2 or older.

I can't post links yet, so excuse me for the unformatted links.

In GBAtemp, there are people working in understand everything amiibos, the Nintendo figurines. At the moment, we are able to dump them, decrypt them, modify some stats about them, encrypt them again, and send the modified dump to amiibo again.
One guy, _Tim_, has been successful in writing full amiibos in blank tags, but he has not released exactly how to make it, because we have to modify some parts of the amiibo dump that are unknown. (gbatemp.net/threads/diy-amiibo-cards.406978/)
Another guy, sweis12, has been able to write a full amiibo in an emulated tag on a phone, but he has not released so much info neither. (gbatemp.net/threads/android-amiibo-emulation.411631/)

I'm here to ask you about the phone part of the last one. As you can see in his video, he's been able to emulate a NTAG215 tag. People has been saying that was not possible, because with the Android Host Card Emulation you can only emulate NFC Forum Type 4 Tags. But as it seems, with CyanogenMod 10.2 or older (the last version where the Cyanogen team used their own HCE implementation, instead of the official Android one) you are able to emulate NFC Forum Type 2 Tags, because the CM implementation is not as restrictive as the official one.

sweis12 is not going to release anything or show us his app code, so we're alone on this one. We need an app that uses the old CM's HCE implementation to host bin files. Do you know any app that does that, or can you help me to write one?
