Moto G XT1032 8GB - Completely stock and bootloader locked stuck on Motorola logo
Hello everyone,
last week my Moto G (never unlocked, and completely stock) stopped working. I was on lastest official update, that is Lollipop 5.1, but the problem didn't come up with the update, this was later.
One morning (I have not been shutting down the phone for 1 month I guess) I wake up, it's off. I switch it on and it stays on Motorola logo forever.
If I try to go to fastboot (bootloader version 41.1A) it works, but if I select any option (except the barcode one, the only one working) the phone will go back to the Motorola logo, so I am unable to factory reset and even to go in recovery!
So I tried to erease everything using fastboot and PC: it can communicate with PC, and all commands work EXCEPT the commands that must act on partitions, they ALWAYS return "Remote failure" error.
At that point I tried to unlock the bootloader, maybe that was the problem, but no, same error, always.
Any idea guys? :( Save my phone please :)

Downgrading Moto X(XT1060) from 5.1 Update
I will be due for an upgrade soon, so bricking isnt much of a concern, Ive heard reports of people successfully downgrading from 5.1 back to the previous 4.4.4 by following a strict set of instructions so they do not brick their device. Would it be at all possible to downgrade even further following these directions, but using say 4.4.2 images instead?

Moto G 4G freezing randomly, requires reset to power on (long/detailed post inside)
so yeah, my phone just freezes randomly at different time.
I believe it's freezing and then it just drains the power.
When I turn it back on, there's a gap in the battery life. Unfortunately, this time it must have happened really early and the battery drained to 0 and now it doesn't even power on.
This includes power + vol down with and without charger on for at least 1 or 2 mins, nothing happens. The notification light turns on when you plug it in.
I believe I do need to open it and unplug the battery then plug in the power, but I can't test it out because I don't have T5 torx around so it may take a while.
Anyways, I am not definitive on the freezing, it's just most likely scenario since phone becomes unresponsive randomly.
When it happens, plugging in power, power button, plug to usb/data does nothing. Phoning the cellphone gets user not in service. And powering back on I see the battery is drained.
This started happening like around a month and a half ago, I was using SaberRom. The rom was very stable until it this started happening.
I thought there was a bug in the Rom or something, so I made the jump to CM12. However it still continues to happen.
My only guess why this may be happening, software wise now, through the process of elimination is maybe Xposed might be doing something.
If it's not, then it could be a hardware problem, which doesnt make much sense to me since the phone is stable when I actually use it.
The freezing problem never happens while I use it, it usually happens over night or not in use in my pocket.
I started using logcat to try to keep a record, but I only have 1 record, plus 1 the most current one which I dont know if it even recorded properly since I can't turn phone on.

Droid Turbo 5.1 Firmware on Moto Maxx
Made an almost suicidal experience with my Moto Maxx today flasheei the Droid Turbo firmware ( with due care not bricked for my Moto Maxx ) , as expected came across endless bugs , as the wifi does not work, 3g and 4g does not work , lock screen does not work , settings bar tBM does not work , impossible to use on a daily basis in Maxx , maybe some developer with experience in this type of thing could carry the Droid Turbo firmware for the Maxx already she is on android 5.1 and Maxx embittering the 5.0.2 kk :confused:

TWRP flashing Moto g 2015
I have got the Indian variant of the Moto g 2015 and I have already unlocked bootloader and tried flashing twrp recovery through cmd, although I think it was successful since it said finished, when I tried booting in recovery mode it said no command. Help would be appreciated!

also please tell me what are all the things i should backup before doing this and after the root and what should i do to revert back all the changes to stock version with locked bl and unrooted phone later.

Moto E is working but screen not displaying
I have Moto E 1st Gen it is rooted since 1 year. suddenly my phone automatically blacks out and it does not starts and on pressing the power button it vibrates.
after long press of power it restarts and works fine untill the screen gets off. then again i have to do the same process. i also changed my rom from kikat to CM 12.
but the problem remains the same. however the problem ended when i moved to CM 13 but CM 13 has storage problem.
Please Help me..

How would you get the Moto X 2014 stock Motorola apps for custom ROM?
I can download some of the Motorola apps from play store but I can't really use them for anything. My phone is running on cyanogen mod nightlies. Is there any way I can use the Moto voice again? Or do I need to live without it. It was always just such a useful thing because it worked almost anywhere.

Moto X XT1095 6.0 Won't Boot Full Disk
Stock Android 6.0 with stock recovery, no root, locked bootloader. Ran the device out of internal storage by writing too many files to the application's data directory. The device crashed and now will not pass the boot animation. Able to get into fastboot and recovery. Have tried wiping cache and every other option available in the menus. Need to files from application data directory, or get Android to boot. Any suggestions?

[XT1096] Running CM 13, can I get the Moto style ambient display icons back?
I just unlocked the bootloader on my VZW Moto X and installed CM 13 (1/26 nightly) on it. While CM does still retain the active display functionality where you wave your hand over the device and it shows time/notifications, it is not exactly the same as the stock Moto style. With the stock Moto firmware when you wave your hand over it shows the time and up to 3 notifications in small round circles with just the notification icon, no text. Now, in CM, I can still wave my hand over the phone to get the screen to turn on, but it is black & white and shows the notifications in rows with preview text.
Can I get those circles back? I much prefer that than the full text of the notification showing up every time a message comes in, or I wave my hand over the phone. It's a bit of a privacy/security issue.

moto g 3rd gen (osprey) no usb connectivity, adb disable causes restart
moto g 3rd gen osprey on cm12.1 2005-11-17
while in a hotel i tried to gain usb support for a television and installed "SD card as USB drive -root-" from https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tcher&hl=en_GB i didn't pay much attention (distracted by kids) and just tried different options in the widget.
none of the options worked, and since returning to my laptop i can not connect via usb. phone charges but laptop doesn't respond at all. if i go to developer options and attempt to disable adb debugging the phone immediately restarts with adb still enabled. if i disable developer mode phone restarts with developer disabled.
i don't really understand what the app does or what it has done to my phone so any help greatly appreciated!
