Hi guys,
I saw Deepin Team released Deepin 15 ARM Edition! (Official blog news)



Now, they released a complete image for Nano Pi 2 with the support of Guangzhou FriendlyARM Computer Tech Co., Ltd., but also source code to port Deepin 15 ARM Edition to other boards!



Can someone port it to Raspberry Pi2?

[Mod][5.x.x][6.0.x] Viper4Android for MM based ROMs With MaxxAudio

Viper4Android returns sound great but complex to set up "on the go" (ie quickly change a parameter)
The app and its MaxxAudio sound drivers available from CM12S on features excellent high and low, to the detriment Surround effect that can often drastically worsens the quality of the song you are listening. In addition the low that returns are not dynamic, and what feels distinctly in some parts.
So let's seehow to use simultaneously the two drivers:

WARNING:
1. This is for ROOTED users with Custom Recovery installed.
2. Your stock audiofx libs will be replaced. So make a nandroid backup of your current ROM.
3. Keep your volume low as 30% before you use this mod.

Requirements:
Root
Recovery (TWRP)
Busybox: Yes
SeLinux: Premissive

Poweramp or Blackplayer and MX Player: only player which at the time the process has been tested, but I suppose that many others are compatible.

Steps:
1. Place downloaded ZIP files on your Internal or External SD Card.
2. MAKE A BACKUP, VERY IMPORTANT! Things can happen.
3. Use TWRP Recovery to Flash the Zip File.
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Flash ViPER4MM.zip
6. Flash maxxaudio.zip
7. Reboot
8. Open maxxaudio app and turn on it
9. Open viper app and install the driver
10. Reboot
11. After reboot open maxxaudio app and disable it for phone and headphone both
12. Reboot again
13. Enjoy the power of music :);):D

Recommended Music player: PowerAMP

PowerAMP will work on Normal and Compatible Mode.
For Normal Mode you must Disable BOTH Direct Volume Control & BT Direct Volume Control even if you're on wired headphones, under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks" to Disable.
For Compatible Mode you are free to use DVC but you must Enable MusicFX under "Settings>Audio>Advanced Tweaks", then under Tone/VOL you can trigger the MusixFX button and V4A will work.

if you are on MM Based ROM and you have personal profiles to load,then

Goto: data\media\legacy\ViPER4android\Profile folder
Add your profiles
be sure to change the permissions of these files to rw-r-r, otherwise V4A can't read them and won't load them.

Enjoy V4A with MaxxAudio ... :);):D

Best ROM for M9 ( mainly based on battery backup)

Hey guyz,

Ive been researching about a few best roms for m9 which i bought about a week.
Ive been experiancing higher heating of the phone and lesser battery backup
When compared to my old m8. Recently i updated it to 5.1 and improved the backup and reduced heating a little more. Since im having a small internet data packs, i cant rry out all roms to find out which one is best which could mainly give me better backup from this 2840juice.

How many CM13 based ROMs do we got on here anyhow?

This Spaceballs scene comes to mind. ;)

Before I go digging in and determining what the difference between each of these CM13 based ROMs - I was curious if any of you might be more acqauinted with these and willing to offer some insight. Please forgive my ignorance, but I am curious as to what the main differences between each of these ROMs. From what I can tell, some of the 'unique' features of some of them, are also unadvertised features of the other ROMs...?

Note.
1. this will not lock your bootloader because it is 32-bit OS...and the bootloader will be locked after getting 64-bit OS....

2. You can not install any recovery which are available tthis time because in this update your recovery partition is changed....

3. for root access ...
install any app like RE, es file explorrer, flashify...
then go to security app then click on permission then root access and then enable root access for the app...

Mod reboot in recovery from power menu for stock based rom

It's on your own risk.
Stock based need 3rd part app for reboot in recovery.
This mod allow you to do it with long press on switch off button on power menu.

MIUI based Lollipop ROM

I have a Mi 4 with MIUI7 but it comes with Android version 4.4.4.

How do I still run MIUI7 but have Lollipop on my device instead?

Error while booting cm12.1 based rom

I've compiled it without any errors and applied the necessary patches too. I used cm12.0's boot.img so that I can get logcat (can't get logcat from cm12.1's boot.img). But whenever I try to boot cm12.1, it stucks at bootlogo and never goes ahead. I can get logs from adb but can't figure out, can you help me fix this problem while booting? How to use adb on my arm5 based linux?

Hi all! :)

I have successfully compiled the adb binary, but I Can't connect my phone... I have cm10.1 (android 4.2.2) rom.

When I plug in with usb my phone the adb devices's output is empty. But the lsusb recognize my phone and says Samsung... [USB Debbuging Mode]. What is missing?

I also tried the wireless connection. The adb shell says "unauthorized. You must confirm the dialog popup on your device!" or something similar. But the popup isn't shows up... I think first I have to connect it with USB...

What's wrong?
