I'd like to see more ROMs available for Sprint S6 edge OL1

I been around rooting and custom ROMs and rely on XDA for the newest info about my device. After rooting my Sprint S6 Edge with firmware OL1 I noticed that most ROMs are for older firmware besides the Aroma OL1 Build. Would someone create one or could someone direct me to where more ROMs are for my device?!

Flashing ROMs, and apps that "don't like root"

I'm still a novice when it comes to rooting/flashing. I've done it a few times on various devices, but have stayed away from messing with my daily driver phone. The main reason for this is the few apps that refuse to work on rooted devices - namely Good (work email), Santander (banking), and Sky Go (my satellite TV provider's app).

What I'm unsure of is what it is that these apps don't like: root / non-stock ROM / unlocked bootloader? It might be a silly question, but is it possible to run an unrooted version of Cyanogenmod, with which these apps will play nicely?

No cloudy like MM ROM?

It's been almost a month since the mm has released for this device. Me being a d855 user was wondering that why there aren't any debloated, zip aligned and all those kinda feature added ROMs based on stock available yet. I mean when lollipop repressed we had hundreds of stock based ROMs which were much faster than the crappy slow stock by LG directly.
If there exists so and if I failed to see it, please let Me know.

If there are any specific reasons why not, please share as answer to this query.

Best replacement camera app (I know, it's like beating a dead horse but seriously)

I've reverted back to Touchwiz (KK) because I feel like I can really see the difference between photo's, be it the 16x9 ratio or clearness when you zoom in but once again, I flashed a different rom, this time it's the GPE 5.01.

I'm just tired of the laggy ness of TW even though I was running the google launcher with google now, it just lags, so far with GPE I've had none of those issue's but I like to capture my memories and I don't want to regret this later on.

Currently I'm using the stock google camera, a better camera and I've used Camera FV-5 in the past which was great with all the options but would obviously take time to learn, basically, I'm looking for an app that takes 16x9 pictures (I use a flat screen to view & share my photo's and 4x3 just looks generic I feel).

Are there ANY app's out there, paid or free that will give me the quality of the stock Samsung camera app?

Like I stated in the title, I know this has been gone over many times and everyone has an opinion but I thought I'd check once more before I flash back to TW and deal with the lag just so I can use the stock camera.

Finger print touch pad heat-up like a hell and not working - Resolved myself

I had an issue with finger print touch pad, which was heating up a lot suddenly. I was not able to touch the pad as it was like my skin will burn for sure, It was not even working to unlock the screen. Switched off and switched on many times but no luck. Since i had installed TWRP recovery i just tried wiping cache and dalvik cache, then deleted all the entries registering for finger print recognition and re-registered. It came back to the normal and started working as usual without any heat issue.

I am not sure what was caused for this, same issue is recurring often. It would appreciate If some one can able to share any information to fix this permanently.

I'd like to develop for Oppo R1 R829

I'm very sure that this phone has a potential. It uses an MT6582 chipset, and a Mali 400 GPU, which is very similar to Android One device. It's currently running Android 4.2.2, with the bloated ColorOS, it sucks a lot.

I've been compiling for Nexus 4 before (you can see threads I've started) so I'm pretty familiar with how to compile etc, but I just don't know what to do when I'm left here without any kernel source & device tree.

My question is, can I use the device tree & kernel source from sprout? My guess that it would work, just not out of the box, and I will need few blobs here and there.

Can I try building CM with sprout sources, and getting the blobs from stock ROM?
