Galaxy tab 2 10.1 (3g + WIFI) optus net work australia, boot loop

Given one of the above to try and fix.
It is in a boot loop. turns on for 10 seconds or so then re starts.
Only download is accessible via power + vol up. Pwr + Vol down recovery is not accessible.
I have Odin 3.07. plus other versions as well
Have downloaded TWRP 2.8.5.0 and tried to install. Odin says it went well but cannot run it via pwr + Vol dwn or any other key combination.
Have also downloaded latest offical samsung rom (4.2.2) and tried to install. Odin gets halfway through and stops with fail status, failed to write.
Have a PIT file and tried re-partition. No different.
Tried nand erase all, ends with fails to write.
Have tried 2 cables, 2 computers and 4 different usb ports.
Have latest usb drivers.

What else can i try to recover this or is it beyond repair?

Has anyone here ever gotten an Xbox 360 controller to work without flashing lights?

I've got a wireless Xbox 360 controller and dongle and USB OTG cable, and they all work fine on my Note 4, except that the green ring of lights flash incessantly. This is a known problem on Linux in general, and not just Android. Even when the controller is connected and recognized, the green ring of lights never stops flashing.

Has anyone ever found a fix yet? So far the only thing that came close was downloading an old apk of USB/BT Joystick Center (an abandoned app) - it stopped the lights from flashing, and made it so just the top left corner of the green light was solid on like it should be normally, but it also stopped the controller from working entirely.

[Question] Do rom for N920C work on N9208?

I have a Note 5 dual sim (N9208) from Malysia (I know about that when I bought it), no french and arab languages.
This isn't the main problem, I remarked that the battery is used very fast (about 15% per hour in stand bye mode).
Now I'm frustrated and I want to kwon if the N920C dual sim's rom could work on this model (N9208)

Android for Work compatibility?

I've done quite a bit of searching, and input every search term I can think of, but haven't been able to find an answer to this question: Does anyone know if the Zenfone 2 Laser ze551kl supports Work Profiles for Android for Work?

All more general searches I do only bring up results for the recent firmware update that added support to the ze551ml (not the ze551kl). When I narrow the search enough to exclude that model from the results, I only get results for lists of articles or queries that have separate, unrelated posts for ze551kl and Android for Work.

It's too bad all manufacture's don't just include support for the Work Profile (i.e., the AT&T S4 I currently use issued as a work phone still doesn't support it).

So -- does anyone know the answer to this question? I'd really appreciate it.

Smart Unlock doesn't work with my car's Bluetooth connection.

I had a Nexus 5 that I could use with my car's bluetooth system as a trusted device. I could use google now to say,'OK Google, Navigate to Home'. The phone would automatically bypass the 9 dot lock screen and start navigating.

My Nexus 6 seems to not be able to do this with my car setup as a trusted device. The phone doesn't always turn on when I say OK Google. It seems like it needs to be plugged in. Also if I want to Navigate or use some other command it goes to my 9 dot lock screen and wants me to unlock to be able to start the Navigation.

It's a pain to have to unlock the phone while I am driving.

Is there a fix or something wrong with my Nexus 6?

WCDMA mode doesn't work on samsung gt-19192

I own a samsung s4 mini(gt-19192). When i change the network mode to "WCDMA/GSM(auto connect)" or "WCDMA only", it shows me "emergency calls only" and i cant surf the web or call.I can only use "GSM only" which is a lot slower.
My phone isn't rooted and runs android 4.4.2. I did a factory reset and wiped dalvik cache but no luck.
I would like to know a method to fix this problem asap.

CM 13-6.0: Back key does not work on Hangouts app

Hi all,

I flashed CM 13[6.0] on my Galaxy S2 Plus. Everything is fine apart from back key not working when on Hangouts app. Is this something to do with app setting, need patch?
