Can't acces photo's on locked Galaxy S6

Hello everyone

First of all, i'm dutch so excuse me for any spelling errors etc.
I have a friend who has just had a baby.
She made photos with het Galaxy S6..
But all of a sudden her phone won't recognize her fingers and doesn't unlock.
She also doesn't know her password anymore since she never had to use that again.
I know it is possible to recover the phone but then it will also remove all the photos.
I tried connecting the phone to the computer, it shows a folder named Galaxy S6 but I can't acces it (the phone says unlock phone to view content)
My Question is, does anybody have a workaround? She only wants the photo's once they are back she can reset the phone.
You would really help her out since the baby is born in the 23rd week of pregnancy

Can't wipe via TWRP recovery v2.8.7.2

I tried to wipe the system, cache, data and dalvik and it was:

full SElinux support is present.
MTP enabled

But the red words FAILED appeared. So what should i do, i even can't wipe my sd card.

Nexus 7 cant connect to WIFI [Saved , secured with WPA/WPA2]

STATUS : when connecting to the wifi (connecting.....) the signal icon decreased to 1 which is weird since before connecting it is was full ....

After Updating it to Lollipop, after some time it suddenly began not to be able to connect to the WIFI which is unusual .... Occasionally I can connect to the wifi by luck ,by turning off the wifi router and the nexus itself

I tried
1.factory format
2.flash format
3.settings adjustment
4. I even downgraded it to Kitkat (4.2.2)

xposed framework can't be installed on my device

Want to enable multi-users on Samsung S4 but can't root phone

Hi!
I want to enable the multi-users functionality on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It runs Android version 5.0.1, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I need to root my phone in order to edit my build.prop file.
Problem is, I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-m1919v, which is a phone from Videotron in Quebec, Canada.
I've tried Kingroot and Towelroot, but neither will support this phone.
Another common way to root an android phone seems to be by using Odin and going into download mode, but since this exact phone isn't on the list of "approved" devices, I am reluctant to try it... I really don't want to break it.
I've checked on this forum and haven't found an answer to my problem yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Gmail app can't sync

I don't think this is that sync bug that's been going around but I can't seem to sync Gmail at all. This happened back in August, haven't used it since.

It doesn't show up in the sync settings under the Google app. I disabled, cleared, updated the Gmail and contacts app and still nothing. I have the same issue with the contacts app, if adding new contact it says local only or add account that can sync, and if I add my account again I get an error saying I can't do so. I figured it could be my Google acct settings but everything seems to work on my N7.

I'm thinking the contacts issue would be resolved when Gmail issue is fixed.

In the screenshot below if I click sync now nothing happens. Going to sync settings doesn't show Gmail or contacts.

Can't Boot To Bootloader Or Recovery On LG V10-RS987

Hello, everyone!

I recently purchased a LG V10 and I'm in love (Except for the WiFi latency issues). I was reading up on ways to fix the WiFi lag problem and someone suggested wiping your cache. No matter what button combination I use I cannot seem to get to recovery - I've tried Pwr+Volume Up and Down, and letting off the power button for a second when the LG logo comes up and pressing again while still holding the volume buttons. Nothing seems to work, the most I can get is a white screen that asks if I want to do a factory reset when I try the Pwr+Volume Down method, and with Pwr+Volume Up I get a firmware update screen. If I try using "adb reboot recovery" it will boot to recovery but all I get is the dead Android and nothing else no matter what buttons I press.

I was also curious if I could unlock my bootloader since I haven't seen much information about the RS987 model online, so I enabled OEM Unlock from developer options and used "adb reboot booloader" but all it does it reboot my phone. I've also tried holding the volume buttons while plugging the USB cable and no luck there.

Anyone else with a PS987 had any luck loading to their bootloader or recovery? Any other suggestions for correcting the WiFi lag problem? So far I've tried disabling IPv6 on my router (Don't have the option to disable it) and clearing my cache from storage in Settings.

Can't get out of the TWRP recovery mode on Lenovo k3 note k50 t5 android 5.1

I got my Lenovo k3 note k50 t5 yesteday running on Android 5.1 . I wanted to root it and flash a custom ROM .
I downloader the superSU software on the device.
I flashed the TWRP2.8.6.0_k3note.img in the following steps

1) First I enabled oem unlocking from developer options on the phone
2)Since I use ubuntu , I installed the required android packages
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
3)adb reboot bootloader
4)fastboot oem unlock
5)fastboot devices -> was able to recognize the device
6)fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.8.6.0_k3note.img
7)fastboot reboot

Now the problem starts . It boots into the TWRP recovery , throws some error messages , tries to reboot again and the process continues in a loop

I was able to enter into the TWRP recovery options by pressing the volume up/down button and the power key . The backup process failed and when I tries to install the superSU software , it wasb't able to detect it in the SD card . I'd definitely downloaded it . Now I can't get out of the TWRP recovery mode .

I read that the best thing to do is flash the stock ROM for K3 note ?
Where can I get the correct instructions to do so ?

Can't restore encrypted Titanium Backup backup from Google Drive on new phone

Hi guys,

first of all, I'm german and dont know if i translate all Titanium Backup texts right. So sorry if you dont understand everything, but I try my best :D

Now, i got a little problem here. I've used Titanium Backup on my S3 to create an encrypted backup of my apps and sync it to Google Drive. Several days ago my S3 did break and I bought a new one, a Nexus 6. Now I wanted to restore my Apps from the backup. What I did first is to sync the backup files from my Google Drive via Titanium Backup. That went fine and made no problems at all. Via a file browser I can see the backup files on my phone. The path to the backup folder is set right in Titanium Backup. I can also verify the backup files in TB succesfully with the passphrase. But when I try to batch restore the backups I cant. In TB in the list with all these batch actions I wanted to use "restore missing Apps with Data" then select all the Apps and let TB do its job. But I cant, after the "restore missing Apps..." there is a 0. It seems like it is not recognizing my backups files here...
What could the problem be?

Cant Install Gapps (Rogers SGH-I747M)

I'm getting error status 7 when trying to install gapps on my Rogers sgh-i747m. Here is the file I'm using gapps-lp-20141212-signed.

I'm trying to get CM 12.1 running smoothly on this device if thats even possible. So far all I've been able to do is get 12.1 running no wifi, receive messages but can't send them. If there a version of CM 12.1 specifically made for the Canadian version of this phone? Right now I'm running the sprint version, it wouldn't let me install att version, saying my phone was d2spr.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

S5 Neo sometimes can't receive incoming calls

Hello fellas,

I recently bought a new S5 neo but I'm having this strange issue.
Sometimes i can't receive incoming calls. The person who calls me gets the "The users phone is turned off or its out of range" message. And i dont receive any notification that somebody was calling me (btw i dont have a voicemail on)
The thing is i have good receipton, i turned off call baring, voice forwarding etc.. but still sometimes my friends can't reach me althou im in range.
Could it be that my phone goes into some kind of deepsleep and ignores everything ? Faulty antenna ? Or maybe i have to manual setup the network operator .. im out of ideas..

Cant access root without kingroot. Need superSu

What is this :( Whenever I uninstall kingroot I lose my root access.. I rooted my phone from CF Autoroot, means I should have SuperSu installed but whenever I tried to update binary it used to show disable knox and I did it, I completly uninstalled Knox and now whenever I try to update su binary it says installation failed. Reboot and try again.. I tried sever times but same issue :( Even I googled and followed dufferent method but su-binary didnt updated and I am forced to stay in kingroot :/

Sm-N900 I can't copy files from phone to pc

As said above,ı can't copy any files from phone to pc.
Samsung usb driver is installed.
Usb Debug mode on or off doesn't make a difference.
I can't copy to desktop or c/d drives.
I tried to make a new folder and copy(Sometimes that worked before.) but the same again.
I am using Aurora rom with stock kernel.
None of the things worked this time.
ı am trying to copy a 56 kb photo and am unsuccessful

Please i need help asap! Htc m7 cant recognize sim after installation of new a rom

HTC ONE M7 CANT RECOGNIZE SIM AFTER INSTALLATION OF NEW ROM
First i got the ROM nesenseven 5.0.2. here and after installation my HTC m7_wlv cant recognize my sim and not just that my phone doesnt have an IMEI but even other thing is working wifi and more. i download the ROM nesenseven 5.0.2http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...v1-00-t3056524 i did all required the pone I flashed the ROM is htc one m7_wlv and i installed sprint ROM with international GSM kernel version but after the installation the phone doesnt recognize sim i taught it was hardware but it isnt . I can't install minecraft on my phone

Iaps is disabled and i can't activate them again!

Both deemo and x plane is broken now because for some reason the iap settings has been disabled and doesn't allow me to buy anything. Even x-planes crashes because the iap thing is disabled...

How do i enable them? I even tried to enable the google serivces and google play, but still doesn't work, and there's a "forbidden" sign next to the wifi aswell for the notification, and no setting to enable it either.:(

And there is no setting in google play to enable iaps either.

i cant wipe my mobile data heeeeelllp

Hey guys I'm running dn4 v2 on my mobile galaxy note 2, and whenever I wipe data in clockworkmod recovery it powers off and reboots.... everything else works, flashing ROMs, wiping cache and dalvik cache, but wiping data restarts the phone back into recovery. I ttried flashing TWRP but that recovery results in a boot loop, in which I had to flash CWM again from Odin..... I really do not know how to fix this, the ROM I'm running works so bad , and I really can't flash other roms without being able to wipe data......

Can connect to mobile network but can't make calls or send sms.

Hello.
The problem is as written in title.

A while ago my GF found this phone in woods in snow. It was barely visible so it must've been there for some time.
Of course it had passcode which we couldn't get past. Also was pretty strange because it didn't have a SIM card, which couldn't have fallen out because it had the silicone case around it.
We put up posts on her local facebook and on our public profiles, a month has passed no one has decided it's theirs so she gave it to me to reset.

Neither power or volume UP buttons were working but a little digging here and there and I found the microsoft tools to completely reinstall the phone. Now we have a nice spare phone in case any of ours breaks down, BUT we can't make calls from it. Tried both mine and her SIM cards, nothing. Signal is full, it easily finds 4G and I'm absolutely not familiar with windows phones(the last one I had was HTC Touch dual), but getting online - when WiFi is off - is possible. So it must mean the IMEI isn't blocked, right?
What could be our options or has she just found a fancy music player? (32GB is hell of a lot more than 8GB on my phone or even 16 on hers)
